AUDIO MINISTRY This ministry is responsible for operating the sound system during all services and events. This ministry serves the congregation by providing high quality tape recordings that are available immediately following the worship services. COMPUTER LITERACY LAB The Church computer lab is for use by all members. It is used primarily to train youth and senior adults Computer literacy. The computer lab currently has four computers for member use.	Sister Betty Lewis, Director
CHERUB CHOIR This choir is for children ages 7 – 11. The focus of this choir is to sing simple songs that Are fun and instructional as it relates to the Kingdom of God	Sister Delissa Mixon, Director
DRILL TEAM, BRASS BAND AND DRUM CORPS The Church Drill Team, Brass Band and Drum Corps is comprised of about sixty young men. This group marches in the Southern University Homecoming Parade, the Grambling State University Homecoming Parade, as well as events throughout the State. DEACON BOARD MINISTRY The Deacons are the trusted stewards of the church. Persons of good character And strong faith upon whose shoulders rest the physical operation of the church. It is the Deacons’ duty to shore up and oversee the needs of God’s house and God’s People, and to support and assist the Pastor and the ministerial staff so that they would be free to concentrate on seeing to the spiritual needs of the body of Christ. DEACONESS MINISTRY Deaconess Ministry prepares Holy communion for the first Sunday of each month and other services as scheduled. The Deaconesses also assist in helping families in need and during bereavement periods.	Sister Helen Averhart, Chairperson
D.I.V.A.S. Ministry (Developing Into Virtuous And Strong) Women in Christ This ministry is for young women 12 – 18 years of age. It is designed to equip young ladies with the skills that will transform them into virtuous women of God who carry themselves in the spirit of excellence. DRAMA MINISTRY This ministry performs skits and full-length dramas at various times throughout the year. These performances coincide with different holidays and events. PRAISE DANCE MINISTRIES The Dance Ministry builds the church from the inside out by exalting the Father, Son and Holy Spirit through Christian dance and praise.	Sister Castine Porche', Director
FAMILIES OF DEPLOYED SERVICE MEMBERS SUPPORT MINISTRY This ministry offers support to family members of deployed active duty military personnel. We realize that the absence of a loved one while serving their country can cause depression and anxiety. Family members do not have to feel alone. This ministry provides a shoulder to lean or cry on, an ear to listen and Christian fellowship.	Sister Angela Degray, Director
HEALTH AND WELLNESS MINISTRY This ministry is designed to make the Church family aware of health issues. It also offers activities throughout the year to promote physical well-being. HOSPITALITY MINISTRY This ministry greets members and visitors as they enter the sanctuary for worship each week. This ministry also helps to host special guests, making them feel special and appreciated.	Sister Shana Hunter, Director
INTERCESSORY PRAYER MINISTRY The intercessory prayer ministry meets each 1^st and 3^rd Sunday before worship to intercede on behalf of the Pastor and congregation. This ministry also operates the Church prayer line and offers prayers for the sick, shut-in and others who have prayer requests.	T.B.A.

NEW MEMBERS MINISTRY The New Members Ministry welcomes all new members who join the church. The new members ministry assists new members with appropriate paperwork, provides information about the church, provides follow-up welcome calls, assist with Baptism needs, and directs them to the other ministries they may have an interest in joining. NURSERY MINISTRY The Pleasant Hill Baptist Church nursery is open during all services for children ages 1 to 4. The nursery is set-up to provide quality care for children while parents enjoy worship and bible study. Children are given age based bible lessons and activities. PRISON MINISTRY The Prison Ministry advances the Kingdom of God by ministering to prisoners by proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ. This ministry assists prisoners and their families in an effort to bring about healing and reconciliation. The ministry assists prisoners in dealing with every day practical situations. SECURITY MINISTRY The Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Security ministry serves to implement plans and procedures for dealing with a whole range of security issues. Special emphasis is placed on keeping the Pastor as well as parishioners safe while participating in worship at the church and during church sponsored activities. STREET ADOPTION AND BEAUTIFICATION MINISTRY The Pleasant Hill Baptist Church seeks in every way to promote Christ and the Spirit of excellence. For This reason, Pleasant Hill Adopted Nona Street, which is the main thoroughfare into the community where the Church is located.
